I certainly got my work cut out these few weeks, I had problem that I could not solve and time which I do not have enough of. Much is to work as to the people around me, my friends show frustration as well others feel a breeze as if they were born for it and also a hand full of those who do not know what they want to become as do I.

I always thought that I could do much in IT but the more I learn the more I understand that there’s so much more than I have imagined. It drives me, yes it does but it also puts fear. Fear of which I would still not understand after 3 years, fear of which I could not overcome.

The 2 weeks is long but in time is not enough a New Year could either be as bright as day or as dark as night it all depends on me now. Other than work, there’s also things I have to settle to that organ that pumps my blood. She stirs too much and feel a sink every time.

So as for the holidays to say, I have my joy of giving already and as for the mistletoe and the new year under the fireworks, not this year.

I learn diploma of information technology, a balance of java, business application and IT content application. Is like a daily dose of everyday meals of meat, vegetables and fruits. I’m always looking into business application because I have been studying near to the aspects of business, I do neat stuff on the computer sometimes making me have a slight advantage on IT, I had a history with java but is quite a few years and for a teenager what’s there to remember ?

Basically I would be nagging away like a kid over why am I studying for java and some aspects of IT and business application in between.My grades are well average, not getting attention for being great neither being ‘stupid as hell’. So in the wider picture I be learning what it takes to be in the world of IT – what are the DOs and the DON’Ts. But than what does apply when I get a job ?

The fact that I know the world of IT or a specific knowledge gained from the world of IT. I think and thought that what I am learning is starting to be an advisor sort of mind yet in the world advisors don’t happen to be around as the people doing than already have such knowledge.

Is a harsh world yet, my goal is still to get a job that is related to business in some aspect, maybe in stock markets or managements involving around IT. After all the understanding, one could not see life as a narrow as oneself but as a world of the diverse intimate eyes of everyone.

But it could not keep me from making a wish either way, the custom is like almost everyday, every time the clock strikes 11.11 am or pm you make a wish, simple enough as you have 2 chances everyday. The problem was that does it really make it come true, the wish that is. Like all things you have to plan and take action to lead to the result, if the wish was a result basically you can’t just lay and wait. Of course to wishes like this I just hope for my family safety above all.

It makes me wonder how great can one day happen in a lifetime be ? Why not celebrate everyday of your life as you can’t relive yesterday.

The best part of coming back after a month is to see your friends again and you will just be thinking what kind of drama and mayhem can you do for the next 5 to 6 months or so together other than studying, revising and studying once more.

Everyone will of course start to have some new cut to their life , others are just same old plain old.

Subjects are like the upgrade of last semester, had to do 2 Java programming subjects, one database subject and etc etc most of which is like a continuation of last semester which is good, is not like going into a cave without knowing what’s it in but more like you know what’s in it just that you can’t stop yourself to prevent yourself from going in.

I am back from my Melbourne holiday trip and I am frying myself under the Singapore heat the minute I step out of the airport. Got a real short haircut, the next morning as I could not take the heat. Also my parents barely recognised me having long hair when I was getting baggage at the arrival hall.

Melbourne after 1 month of stay was actually not bad though I do have to say that I do laze around most of the time but the city life was great, the people were friendly, the countryside have wallabies as your neighbour and the food is large and generous when served. Even though there would be a bit of chaos here and there, with news that would never show up in Singapore like riots along the commercial streets or children running away from home, isn’t Singapore lucky not to have the chaos ?

Went to the movies as well and watch Real Steel, sure it also has showtimes in Singapore but the major different was – no subtitles as everyone speaks English, there were no subtitles at all when showcasing an English cinema show, what’s better was that buying tickets is just buying tickets, the seats are first come first serve, get the best seat yourself !

Well coming back wouldn’t be such a sad thing really I learned a lot and I learned to better take care of myself as when I’m home my parents were always there that I’m wasn’t self reliant. Now with the semester starting again, is time to buck up and move forward.

Anyway, I have gone to another tour to Philip Islands South East of Melbourne, and while being there I have seen Blue penguins, and fed Wallabies/Kangaroos and seen Koala Bears. About the food though I have felt cheated at the certain dish that we eat in Singapore, Fish n Chips. Never before had the dish actually meant having just Fish n Chips (o Fries) on the dish, no baked beans, salad, not even a side order of bun and it costs a near 10 dollars !

Bought some souvenirs on the trip but they are not enough would be looking around the city soon for more.

Also went to Olinda town , a town on Mount Dandenong and tried one of the best pies I have tasted other than the chicken pies back at home, tried the beef and mushroom pie and it was delicious. I still don’t really get the price of the food and the cost of it however the pie, nonetheless, was delicious.

Just the first 3 days I been going around Melbourne business district just looking around the streets and the bustle of the city life, what’s new however is that the bustle isn’t really a bustle, everyone not actually in a hurry well except for the night jam which of course every business district would have one everywhere in the world.

Just this afternoon, I travelled to Geelong to look around the place as my godsister’s friend is having an interview there at the Deakin University so we have a meal at the tiny cafe stall which people call “a hole in the wall” after that is looking around the University before looking around the neighbouring district town and is actually amazing the dedication Geelong has for is team towards Australian Football. Everywhere are signboards supporting the Geelong Foot Club nicknamed the Cats and their support against one of Melbourne’s (Melbourne has a couple of teams) Cottingham Football Club nicknamed the Magpies. That is one freezing journey of an afternoon.

The food is kinda new to the stomach at first but after a while I got used to it, staying away from their strong flavoured leaf salads. Even for a vegetarian I bet it would get him/her to get use to eat before eating it at a regular basis but for me, I’m staying away from it. As for the meat, nothing to say actually, yum !

Just last night, an event was held at the bedok reservoir and I was able to get some interesting pictures. Is an event where we have bonfires on water much to the customs of what some Americans do and being lighten up in Singapore is a first. Also it will be the first that I tried in Night Photography.

I have never thought I have it in me to do night photography , normally I would not do night photography.

Oh yes, I be flying off from Singapore to Melbourne for a month with the saying of “what’s work with no play” I’m going to enjoy myself there I bet, hope to get to know the places in Melbourne. Will be doing a home stay there with my godsister , flying off tonight.

It suddenly became an addiction to actually prepare and study for something and for every once in a while I start to panic as to what I want to actually do for the next few hours, for the next few minutes even.

Well another few days have gone and finally something to just walk around – the TGX. A game convention at EXPO which doesn’t really help in the excitement of the day. Always on the first day there’s nothing special, ALWAYS just previous stuff and people getting ready almost as if Day 1 is called Pre-Day but than again I enjoyed every bit of watching the games which shows how desperate I need a new console.

As soon as the weekend and the Monday is over is Basketball on Tuesday and a camp from Wednesday to Friday and once is over is a barbecue at night. I don’t actually know about the barbecue part though just make sure I stay alive for 3days and 2 nights for that 3rd night.

Of course it wouldn’t hurt to have some spare time for yourself and I actually did quite a bit taking breaks now and than but it always seem to be Sundays turning Monday blues each time as I turn back to my work assignments which would be due any minute.

Of course there would be another problem and that would be parents, with a benefit of a doubt it is true to rest early so we wouldn’t look like we woke up at the wrong side of the bed in the morning but with the work and pressure doing OT was a resort we would take to get it done. I’m also not saying my parents are bad people but to say it every night is annoying.

Also through this whole month passed, one of those days are brother’s birthday turning 15 and I wouldn’t mind saying that I am turning shorter than my little brother. Right now I am at the same height as him and he has still time in growing while mine has stopped. makes me think that he used to be my little chubby brother who loves pooh bears, now he is a basketball player, tall well built but looks underweight to some for his height. regardless of which he is my brother and we are still in the same place we are –  the stress of education.

But of course as soon as this is done I would be able to concentrate next on my exams coming in 2 weeks. Pretty packed and not having time it seems but everyone has a way to overcome anything. This is my challenge and thus I shall overcome it and come back up on my feet.
